Refund Policy
First of all, should you not be able to attend a Skybreaker Racing-owned event and need to withdraw, you may do so via the corresponding registration platform.
(Ultrasignup: Account Info (drop down menu, top right) > Registration History > Edit)
It is Skybreaker Racing's policy not to issue refunds. We can however offer a 75% rollover credit towards a future Skybreaker Racing-owned event good for the current or following calendar year. We offer this up until 30 days prior to the date of the event. After that, should you decide to withdraw, no credit will be issued.
In the rare event that we are forced to cancel an event, we will issue a 75% rollover credit (same application as above). We will always do everything in our power to avoid this outcome, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise that are just out of our control.
We would love to be able to offer more, but the reality is that when it comes to small-scale events like ours, most of the registration fees are spent on the production of the event well before race day. We thank you for your understanding.
Race Credit
Free Race Entry
If you've been the recipient of a free race entry (giveaway), at the time of receipt, this is good for any distance at any of the following events during the current or following calendar year.

If you have rollover credit from a race which you could not attend or was canceled, at the scheduled time/date of said event, this is good for an equivalent distance (or shorter) at any of the following events during the current or following calendar year. (Only 50K credit can be used for BABU.)
Bad Ass Backyard Ultra (BABU)

Signal Peak Trail Runs
Mammoth Bar Trail Runs
Yuba Gold Trail Runs
The following pertain to all Skybreaker Racing-owned events unless specifically stated otherwise:
This list is not intended to be all-encompassing. Situations may arise at a given event and the Race Director will make decisions accordingly.
Runners must wear their official race bib/number on the front of their person, where it must be visible at all times.
Knowing the course is the sole responsibility of the runner. Markings, ribbons, and flags are only in place as a guide and are subject to vandalism. Skybreaker Racing strives to mark the race course as clearly as possible. That said, course markings can be moved by natural or human interference and course markings and any instructions given by volunteers are intended to supplement a participant's understanding and are therefore not definitive. Ultimately, it is each participant's responsibility to know and follow the correct course, and any deviation therefrom is the result of his/her own actions and not the fault of the race directors, staff, or volunteers. It is always recommended that you have the provided digital map data downloaded to your phone or watch in advance of race day.
Be aware that race courses are not permanent and may change due to weather, geology, permitting, governmental changes, etc. The Race Director will do everything possible to avoid these situations but that is not always possible. Refunds will not be issued if the course must be changed.
Should an event be canceled due to permitting issues or any other reason, no refunds will be given (This is regrettable, but in most cases, for smaller-scale events, most of the registration fees are spent on event production well in advance of race day). The event organizers will do everything possible to avoid this unfortunate outcome, but sometimes it is unavoidable. In these rare cases, race/event credit may be issued to entrants. This will be done at the sole discretion of Skybreaker Racing officials.
Runner safety is a top priority. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.

Other participants, runners, humans, or animals may not carry anything for the participant. Only volunteers at aid stations may assist participants, and at aid stations only.

No strollers, baby joggers, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, in-line skates, or animals will be allowed in the event.
Disqualifications/DNF's (Did Not Finish)
Any participant who is unable or does not desire to finish the race must continue or backtrack to the nearest aid station. The runner must relinquish his or her race bib/number to the aid station captain and state his or her decision to withdraw (DNF).
All participants must be finished before the designated race cutoff to avoid disqualification. Any runner being allowed to finish after that time is solely at the Race Director's discretion.
In these cases, said runner will receive a DNF.
Any runner who stops for more than 60 minutes is subject to being pulled from the course (DNF).
No littering. Please practice "leave no trace" principles and respect the natural beauty of our trails and the rights of everyone to enjoy them. Any littering or vandalism to the course is grounds for immediate disqualification.
All participants must abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of participation in this event including the right of any official to deny or suspend participation for any reason.
