Directions

Directions can be found on the State Parks page. Note that taking N. Bloomfield Rd. is not as bad as they say. This route can be driven in a 2WD, non-high-clearance vehicle, though parts of the road between Edwards Crossing and North Bloomfield do have potholes and washboards.

Accommodations

Chute Hill Campground at Malakoff Diggins SHP is a short drive from the start/finish. It's on a first come, first served basis this time of year. There is running water, but no showers.

There are also rentable cabins within the historic townsite of North Bloomfield. They're first come, first served as well.
